BIBL 550 - Hermeneutics

Dieser Kurs wird sich mit den beiden Hauptaspekten der Hermeneutik befassen: Wie verstehen wir? Wie interpretieren wir Texte? Es werden sowohl verschiedene erkenntnistheoretische als auch verschiedene hermeneutische Ansätze untersucht. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird den neueren hermeneutischen Ansätzen gewidmet. Der Kurs will den Studierenden helfen, ihren eigenen hermeneutischen Ansatz evangelikaler/pfingstlicher Prägung zu entwickeln.

A. Allgemeine Lernziele
Dieser Kurs zielt darauf ab,

• die Geschichte der biblischen Auslegung zu verstehen und erklären zu können.
• die hermeneutischen Ansätze des 1. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. zu erörtern und zu beschreiben.
• Schlüsselfiguren der Bibelwissenschaft im Rahmen der Hermeneutik und innerhalb der letzten Jahrhunderte zu identifizieren und deren hermeneutische Ansätze zur Schrift skizzieren und erklären zu können.
• Sprachliche, soziologische und kulturelle Aspekte einer evangelikalen/pfingstlichen Hermeneutik zu erfassen und analysieren zu können.

B. Spezifische Lernziele

Als Ergebnis der Aktivitäten und des Studiums in diesem Kurs sollten die Studierenden in der Lage sein:

• unterschiedliche hermeneutische Ansätze im Kontext der Bibelwissenschaft der zurückliegenden Jahrhunderte einschätzen, bewerten und diskutieren zu können (z. B. in Form von Präsentationen im Unterricht).
• hermeneutische Prinzipien für einen pfingstlichen/evangelikalen Ansatz in der Hermeneutik zu untersuchen und mit anderen hermeneutischen Ansätzen zu kontrastieren.
• hermeneutische Elemente für einen pfingstlichen/evangelikalen Auslegungsansatz zur Schrift zu sammeln und zu organisieren.
• einen eigenen hermeneutischen Ansatz zur Schrift zu konstruieren, diesen sorgfältig zu formulieren und abschließend im Lichte anderer Ansätze einzustufen bzw. beurteilen zu können.
